Veteran’s Day 2013

Today is Veteran's Day a national holiday set aside to honor the men and women who served the United States. In the U.S.A. there are over 20 million veterans. Sometime today take a moment to remember and say a prayer for those who fought to protect our freedom.

In Lapeer the Veteran's Day Ceremony gets underway at 11am at Veteran’s Park on Nepessing Street across from the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
