Veterans Village At DuPont Lapeer Airport

This Saturday (9/9), from 9am - 3pm you'll find an array of resources from local, state, federal and private sector organizations will be on hand in the Veterans Village with the mission of connecting veterans and their families with a host of benefits and services.

The daylong event will focus on linking veterans with resources that provide assistance with health, housing, education, employment, suicide prevention and more.
Check out the aviation displays, WWII Vehicles, workshops, VA Doctor on site and a Screening of Ken Burns Documentary “The Vietnam War” by WCMU-TV.

Lunch will be provided in the Village’s Chow Hall and will include pulled pork and grilled chicken. Ice cream for dessert and Vernor’s floats will also be served.
