I was fortunate to have this video show up in my social media feed over the weekend, and I just had to share. Facebook user Dave Mayton created a video that features some great images of the Buick City from the 1970s and '80s, which he calls 'Flint Glory Days.'

Mayton, who was born in Flint and currently resides in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, created the video a few years ago and was surprised to learn that it had gone viral this weekend.

You're sure to see some images that trigger some great memories from the good ol' days, when General Motors ruled the city, and prosperity and success were synonymous with Flint, Michigan.

If you're wondering, the music used to score the video is '83' by John Mayer.

Flint Glory DaysA collage of Flint images/videos and 70's-80's memories. The song is 83 by John Mayer and really "hits home" for me. Feel free to tag yourself if you're a Flintoid or even just someone who misses "the good old days".
