"Oh, you look nice today!", exclaims a co-worker. I say 'Thank you", but what I'm really thinking is little do they know, I didn't want to wear pants today.

The secret is out. In the summer, the only reason why I sport a dress is because I really want to be comfortable. It's not that I want to be super girly and wear a dress to impress, it's comfort.

Today, it's going to 91 and sunny. I was thinking of wearing shorts, but to be honest, shorts can be a little too short. I'm a tall gal, and apparently short companies would like to see us all in very short shorts. Not going to work for me. So, the next best thing? A dress.

I bought this dress a few months back and realized it is way too short to just wear alone, so here comes by other staple, leggings. Man do I love me a pair of leggings. I pretty much live in leggings. I joke that you'd have to peel leggings off me when I expire. But that's a different subject all together. I could go on.

So, there you have it. Now you know why I wear a dress and I'm sure I am not alone in this.

It boils down to these facts: It's hot out, and I'm lazy.
