Weather Shuts Down County And State Government

The County of Lapeer government offices, including courts, will be closed Monday, January 6, 2014 except for essential personnel. People are encouraged to stay off the roads if possible while the Road Commission works to clear them of the excessive snowfall.

Governor Rick Snyder has closed state offices and the Emergency Operations Center has been activated.
