Welcome Home Dinner For Vietnam Veterans

The Lapeer County Department of Veterans Affairs reports that the Lapeer County Vietnam 50th Anniversary Commemorative Committee is presenting a Welcome Home Honorary Dinner on October 21st at the North Branch Wesleyan Church.
The three-year series of activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam conflict will come to a conclusion with the dinner. The event is open to all Vietnam-era veterans (1955-1975) and a guest to honor them and their family for their service and sacrifice.
The Michigan Traveling Wall which contains the names of 2,661 Michigan casualties that gave the ultimate sacrifice will be on display.
