Recent surveys report that the average American is watching 34 hours of television a week, and I can't figure out how they do it.

Now, see if this makes sense to you. The average person probably sleeps 8 hours a day and generally works 8 hours a day.  That leaves another 8 hours a day for everything else. If you watch 34 hours of television a week then that would deduct almost another 5 hours out of your day, leaving you with three hours per day during the week to get everything else done. How can anyone do that? Especially if you have a family? There is so much time consumed with just the basics of life like groceries, errands, shopping, family activities, etc., etc.,  etc.

So really, who has the time to watch TV 34 hours a week. Not me, and I'm single!
