Easter isn’t like Christmas or St. Patrick’s Day. Have you noticed it seems to fall on a different day every year? Easter isn’t a fixed date on the Gregorian calendar (which follows the cycle of the sun and the seasons) because similar to Jewish holidays, it follows a lunisolar calendar. It was determined in the fourth century that Easter would always be calculated as the first Sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox or first day of spring. March 22 is the earliest Easter can occur and April 25 is the latest. I’m confused. Blame it on the moon.
