Days are getting longer and year-round resident birds at Seven Ponds Nature Center such as chickadees, titmice, and cardinals are singing on sunny days. You’re invited to take a late winter walk at the center tomorrow morning (2/25) at 8 AM in search of a variety of species. There may also be enough open water for ducks and possibly the first wave of blackbirds. Watching will begin inside with winter finches and other feeder birds while enjoying hot beverages. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars and field guide. The fee for this program is $3.00. There is no charge for members. For more information, visit sevenponds.org. Seven Ponds Nature Center is located at 3854 Crawford Road in Dryden.
