John Lennon fans around the world mark the 31st anniversary of his death, Yoko Ono believes his spirit is still with us.She tells "USA Today" things like the Occupy Wall Street movement echo what the former Beatle was trying to accomplish, as "John was about making the world a better place."  She says it also has her feeling optimistic for the future.   While Yoko says it would "still be better if John was around," she believes Lennon's spirit is still very active and influential.  She explains that "spirits talk on a pure level and don't get distracted by people saying things like, 'That's nice, but why's he wearing that?'"
Ono is currently in Tokyo, where she'll perform Lennon's music at a benefit for the Japanese Red Cross.  Meanwhile, Steve Forbert and Marshall Crenshaw are among the stars who'll come together in New York City this weekend for the annual John Lennon Tribute Concert.  Saturday's show will also raise money for the Japanese Red Cross.
