So you're hanging out with some friends on the beach, playing in the water, having a blast. What's the last thing that you would expect to happen? Being hit by the wing of a plane that crash-landed on top of you would probably be close to the top of that list, right?

Unfortunately for 12-year-old Nicholas Baer, that became a terrifying reality. He was knocked out in the collision, and his friends thought that he was killed instantly.
