51 Years Ago, Jimi Hendrix’s Brain Is In A Purple Haze [VIDEO]

One of rock and rolls greatest hits was recorded today January 11, 1967 in London. The Jimi Hendrix Experience would record in four hours the worlds first psychedelic hit song 'Purple Haze'.
The story goes that Jimi had written the tune about two weeks earlier on the day after Christmas and the original lyrics were 'Jesus Saves' but Jimi changed it to 'Purple Haze' by the time he got to the studio.
