More bad news for AC/DC fans. First, guitarist and founding member Malcolm Young leaves the band due to illness. Now drummer Phil Rudd is arrested. More here.

Rudd was arrested in New Zealand and charged with attempting to hire a hitman to kill two men. He appeared in court to face those charges as well as being in possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and threatening to kill. Charges against Rudd came after police raided Rudd's home in Mauta, New Zealand. The identities of the two men have not been released. Rudd was released on bail after offering no plea and is set to reappear in court in three weeks. He gave no comment.

Rudd was missing when the band filmed two videos for their upcoming album 'Rock or Bust' as well as a publicity photo ton the group's Facebook page. A "family emergency" was given as the reason.

Could this contribute to the band possibly calling it quits?
