After 45 years, the Allman Brothers Band called it quits with an epic three-set show at the Beacon Theatre in New York.

The band made sure to play homage to its history during the concert that ended after midnight. Guitarist Derek Trucks occasionally played with departed co-founder Duane Allman's 1957 Les Paul throughout the show. The show was also traditional with song choices and closed with 'Trouble No More' - the first song ever played by the original Allman's lineup. Guitarist Warren Haynes said "Duane's presence is part of the moment by moment journey that this band is still on." Brother Gregg added Duane "gave me hell and drove me crazy quite often. But he lit a fire under me and under all of us."

Just an FYI, the final show will be aired several times on SiriusXM's Classic Vinyl channel the next few days. Check out its full set list here.
