Three Almont teens were arrested at a hospital in Wickenburg, Arizona last Wednesday afternoon. Almont Police Chief Pat Nael said that police arrested two brothers, Daniel and Brian Turnquist, ages 17 and 19,  on kidnapping warrants issued by the Lapeer County Prosecutors Office. The boys were with Jordan Cole, an Almont 14 year-old whose parents reported her missing the previous Sunday.

It may take a week or so before the teens are returned to Michigan. It will depend on travel arrangements and whether they try to fight extradition. Both of the Turnquist boys had been facing criminal charges in Lapeer county before the trio left Almont. It was believed they were heading to Ukiah, California where the boys had an uncle.

The kids were detained when they went to a local hospital after Cole complained of stomach pains.
