It's the 2nd annual golf outing fund raiser for Lapeer Area Citizens Against Domestic Assault on Saturday May 20th at Castle Creek Golf Club in Lum.

Andy Verplank was a Lapeer Michigan State Trooper and started the safe house for victims of domestic violence. He retired and has passed away, but his wife and son are very involved to this day in the safe house and all the proceeds will go to this house and operation.

Registration for the outing begins at 8am with shotgun start 9am. Registration fee automatically includes you in skins. $65/person (or $260/team) includes a pizza buffet after golfing. Hole Sponsorship is $100 and donations are accepted.

Prizes will be awarded to winning team, closest to the hole and longest drive.
