Anonymous Donor Pays Walmart Layaway Balances

Someone is in the holiday spirit.

An anonymous donor paid off layaway balances for several Walmart customers in Midland. The kind person paid roughly $3000 toward what I assume, were mostly Christmas gifts.

This is not the first time I have heard a story like this, but it certainly never gets old. Who knows, maybe the same thing will happen at a Walmart in Genesee County? What I really respect and admire, is the fact that this 'Secret Santa', is staying anonymous. He or she is not looking for accolades, just helping people out. That is truly the spirit of Christmas.

I was at a grocery store this past summer, and I could not find my money when I was attempting to check out. A woman behind me in the self checkout line, paid for my groceries. Can you believe it? When I got back into my car, I found my money on the floor. I ran to the woman in the parking lot, and attempted to pay her back - she refused to take it. I am not going to lie, I teared up a little. She told me to pay it forward, and I did.

Another time my dentist picked up the bill for me and my friends at a restaurant. Let me tell you, that bill was not cheap. We all had dinner and a lot of wine. Thank you again Dr. K.
