Lauryn is the youngest full-time writer on the Loudwire staff, and somehow has the oldest taste in music. She'll chew your ear off about rockers from Jim Morrison to Chris Cornell, but especially loves geeking out about Guns N' Roses. Her writing journey began as a freelancer for Alternative Nation, which eventually led her to Loudwire, where she not only writes news stories, but hosts and produces video content (see our '30 Years of Grunge' series on YouTube), creates and hosts short-form videos for our social media channels and hosts a weekly segment on our Loudwire Weekends radio show called 'The GOAT,' which airs every Sunday at 11PM. You can follow Lauryn on Twitter (@laurynschaffs) and Instagram (@laurynschaffner).
