One of my favorite childhood memories was spending time at my late grandparents' house. Being immigrants from Malta, I learned a lot when I was with them. I found out that since my Nanna's (grandmother's) school was blown up when she was in third grade, her formal education stopped there. But she never stopped learning!

She learned to speak English by watching soap operas and other TV shows. We spent most nights snuggled up on the couch watching great shows like 'Mama's Family', 'Small Wonder', and one of my all-time favorites, 'The Greatest American Hero'!

It centers on a high school teacher who is given a special 'super' suit by aliens, but he loses the instruction book, and has no idea what he's doing. Imagine a mix between Superman and Inspector Gadget, and you've got 'The Greatest American Hero'.

FOX has announced that they have signed a production commitment for a pilot episode for a reboot of the 1980s cult classic that originally aired for three seasons on ABC. No word on when we can expect to see the show air as of yet.
