This weekend, the harvest moon, which is the full moon closest to the fall equinox, will rise.  It happens both tonight and tomorrow night, around dusk or so.  You may have heard stories about the harvest moon being bigger or an orange color, but it really isn't.  Its different look depends where in the sky it is.  If you catch it right when it comes over the horizon, it will look bigger, due to the Earth's thick atmosphere.  It's an optical illusion.   Look up tonight and enjoy!
