Bob Seger Pays Tribute To His Friend Glenn Frey

According to Bob Seger's Facebook page about four months ago, Bob went down to Nashville to record a song he'd written about his late friend Glenn Frey. The sparse, tender "Glenn Song" recounts their long friendship.

Instead of releasing it on a future album, Bob decided to give it away to mark the one-year anniversary of Glenn's death January 18, 2016, he was 67 years old.
