Body Found in Flint River At Rotary Park in Lapeer

Investigators are trying to identify a man found dead in the Flint River at Rotary Park in Lapeer and determine how the man ended up in the river.

According to ABC 12, Lapeer City Police responded to reports of a body found floating facedown in the middle of the river at around 4:45 PM on Sunday, August 26. The man was wearing a white shirt, black shorts and a red colored backpack. An autopsy will be performed at a later date.
