Bruce Springsteen Has an Irish Passport

Over the weekend I found out Bruce Springsteen’s great, great grandmother and my grandfather both spent time in the town of Mullingar and were born 20 miles from each other. According to an article in the Westmeath Examiner, Bruce was presented with his Irish passport and his great, great grandmother’s birth certificate a couple of years ago in Ireland. Ann Garrity lived in Mullingar before leaving for America where she settled in New Jersey on Leopold Street: the same street Bruce was born 70 years later.
