Bruce Springsteen: New Single Name and Release Date Announced
While Bruce Springsteen hasn’t leaked too many deets about his 17th studio album, his manager Jon Landau says it has “social overtones” and “a very pronounced spiritual dimension.” And now we know a little about its first single, ‘We Take Care of Our Own.’
According to Amazon, the new track will hit the web tomorrow, Jan. 19. There’s no audio preview, but there is some cover artwork and the retailer notes the song is three minutes and 54 seconds long.
The Boss’s upcoming album was produced by Ron Aniello — who’s worked with Candlebox and Barenaked Ladies — and was recorded with a wide variety of musicians, including Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine and former Pearl Jam drummer Matt Chamberlain.
Other sources describe the new record as Springsteen’s “angriest” work to date. You can read our full preview of the new album right here.
