A Burton firefighter is facing some serious charges after allegedly pulling a gun on two people over fireworks.  Albert Hardy, 46, is an 18-year veteran of the Burton Fire Department. As of now, he is suspended without pay while an investigation is underway.

Rachel Duker (the victim), claims she was outside of her house with her husband on Saturday, July 7th, cleaning up firework debris. That is when Hardy pulled into their driveway to confront the couple over fireworks heard the night before. Apparently Hardy told them he had to work and was upset over the noise. Duker claims they apologized, and then a woman pulled into their driveway and began yelling profanities over the fireworks too. The pair were asked to leave - they would not. According to Duker both the woman and Hardly allegedly pulled out guns.

As I wrote above, an investigation is underway. We will keep you updated as more details become available.
