See the Horrifying Moment a Cable Snapped on a Slingshot Ride

A fun carnival ride turned into a dangerous, heart-stopping excursion for two people in France.

A cable recently snapped on a slingshot ride at a theme park on the country's southern coast while two people were aboard. The ride then swerved into one of support towers while people looked on in horror.

A 24-year-old woman on the attraction suffered a broken leg, while the other person on the ride did not appear to have any serious injuries.

One person who was on hand posted a photo of the scene on Twitter. The translation, by the way, is "An elastic breaks the armory "5th element in Cap d'Agde . The two passengers were given the fright of their lives."
