Calling All Car Lovers – Lapeer Car Cruise Tonight

It's the most wonderful time of the year for a lot of people - car cruise time.

One of the best car cruise events happens every year in Lapeer County. The Lapeer Monday Night Car Cruise is underway, and will run every Monday through September 12th, except on the following date,

• Monday, September 5th (Labor Day)

On average, at each car cruise night, there are 150 to 200 classic cars on display. The event also features driver giveaways, music, and a 50/50 drawing to support Lapeer Main Street.

This is a great opportunity to support the many great bars, restaurants, and stores in downtown Lapeer too. Another bonus is the Lapeer Food Truck Festival happens on Monday nights as well. The Lapeer Food Truck Festival will be set up at the south end of the parking lot between Court Street and Saginaw Street in Lapeer (along Farmers Creek across from Annrook Park). The dates are as follows,

• Monday, July 11th, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Monday, September 12th, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

This is a family-friendly event, and truly one of the best car cruise nights around. Thanks to the Lapeer Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and local volunteers for making this event so awesome year after year.
