Cedar Point made the announcement this morning on Facebook, but if you read between the lines, the doors of speculation have been opened once again. What exactly is going to happen? Will if be repurposed and rebranded? Will it be taken out altogether? We just don't know yet.

Depending on how deep down the rabbit hole you want to go, there are some key phrases we can dive into. The new release uses a couple of bits of wording that could be considered up for interpretation. The first to note is "...Top Thrill Dragster, as you know it, is being retired." The use of "as you know it" stuck out to me and makes me think that the ride will not completely be removed. At least some aspect of the coaster may be repurposed.

The other line that stuck out to me was "...Our team is hard at work, creating a new and reimagined ride experience." Here, "reimagined ride experience" are the keywords and also seem to point to a reconstruction of the ride as opposed to something completely new.

I guess we will just have to wait and see. No matter what the outcome, I'm sure the ride that will replace Top Thrill Dragster will be amazing. Let us know what you think in the comments.
