Celebrate The Waffle

You still have time to enjoy National Waffle Week going on now through September 7th. A waffle, in its basic form, is cooked batter made in a unique shape--typically patterned with squares. First reports of waffles comes from the late 14th century. There’s worldwide variations on this delicious treat including Belgian Waffles which are really an American concoction.
