Now through February 28th, Gallery 194 presents the Chatfield Art Show. Student work from the Chatfield School will be on display until Saturday, February 28. Stop by today (2/11) for a reception that's free and open to the public from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Art Educator Nick Lange says “Every student from Chatfield will have a piece included in the show. That means there will be over 350 pieces of artwork on display.”

The exhibit will be divided up into two segments which means you’ll want to come back for a second visit to see it all. The first two weeks of the show, February 10 – February 21, will feature the K-8 grade student work. Then Mr. Lange, and Gallery 194 Director James Alt will spend the rest of the weekend transforming the exhibit to showcase the work of 20 students who are participating in an after school program called Art Plugged In. Art Plugged In is a class created by Mr. Lange that teaches students how to create works of art in a digital age. The majority of the program focuses on digital photography however, students also get to work with a variety of digital media. This segment of the exhibit will be on display from February 24 – February 28.

Gallery 194 is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and admission is always free and open to the public. For more information gallery194.com
