Browne and Crosby Stills and Nash perform for a cause later this summer.  According to RollingStone.com, the veteran acts will play shows in California to benefit Musicians United for Safe Energy.

The event's scheduled for August 7th at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View.  The recent nuclear power crisis in Japan prompted the planning of the concert.  The group will use money raised from the concert to support disaster relief efforts in Japan.  Graham Nash says the accident at a Japanese nuclear plant this year has "awakened" people to what he describes as the "stupidity" of nuclear power.
