It’s tax time. If you waited until the last minute to work on your taxes, don’t expect much help from the IRS. More than 60% of calls to the tax agency are not being answered say officials because of severe budget cuts. If you go to a tax service center for help, you may be forced to wait in line for hours. It’s not open season for cheating, though. “Even with the cuts, we still do one million audits” says Commissioner John Koskinen. “It’s like a roulette spin, and the white ball may fall on your number” he warns.
