Don’t Text And Drive – Volkswagen Drives Home The Point [VIDEO]

Like many companies that realize the benefits of technology, Volkswagen also sees the danger.  They had a video play in a movie theater before the previews rolled.  The video is from the point of view of a driver speeding down a road.  Using a location-based broadcaster, they sent a text to everyone in the theater.

When the audience looked down at their phone, the car in the video suddenly crashed with no warning.  You can see the shocked expressions on many of the faces in the crowd.  Many people think this video is staged.  What do you think?
