Drugs May Have Caused The Death Of A Michigan State Student
East Lansing Police report that a young man was rushed to Sparrow Hospital Thursday Night, but was dead on arrival. Bloomfield Hills native Anthony John Hawley was enrolled at Michigan State University. Anthony is the sixth MSU student that has passed away since the beginning of the 2014-2015 academic year.
According to a report, Hawley's roommate found him unresponsive, contacted paramedics, and attempted to resuscitate Anthony which was unsuccessful. While police do not suspect foul play, drugs may have been a factor. An autopsy is being performed and the toxicology report should indicate the cause of death.
