Epically Overdue Library Book Makes it Back with Donation, 49 Years Later

Well, at least this guy had plenty of time to read it before he returned it.

A very honest man, back in 1967, borrowed a book from the Herrick District Library in Holland, Michigan. He held onto the book for a tad bit too long, 49 years!

As you can see from the library's Facebook post, He made it right, by mailing the book back with a check for the late fees and a letter explaining what had happened.

I'm really happy that guys like this exists because I know if were me I would most likely keep the book. Matter of fact, if anyone comes looking for me from my high school in regards to a book, I'm not here. Okay?
