Excessive use of and thievery of toilet paper in China has resulted in facial recognition machines being installed in public restrooms. The software ID's the user and then hands 27.5 inches of TP and if you want more you have to wait 9 minutes before you get another couple feet of tissue.
Government officials say the system has cut back on toilet paper consumption by 50%.
