Firebirds To Host Popular Flint Generals Night
Your Flint Firebirds are back on home ice this weekend to host not one, but two fun filled nights. Did I mention the team is currently in first place too?
Saturday, February 26th is Flint Generals Night. The Flint Firebirds will be wearing Flint Generals jersey’s on the ice that will be auctioned off to fans after the game. Hockey fans will also have an opportunity to meet Flint Generals alumni in the concourse area prior to the game and after.
The Flint Firebirds will be taking on the Sarnia Sting that night with the puck dropping at 7:05 PM .
Sunday’s game is another popular promotional game - Family FUNday as your Flint Firebirds host the Erie Otters at 2:00 PM. Face painting and balloon animals will be part of the festivities for your kid(s).
FYI on Sunday, February 27th, when you purchase two adult tickets - you can take advantage of two free kid tickets.
Flint Firebirds ticket can always be purchased through Etix or at Dort Financial Center. I recommend hitting Timothy’s Pub on Robert T. Longway in Flint prior to a game, after, or both Timothy’s Pub is home to your choice of two Flint Firebirds wraps (delicious). Pizza and burgers are popular dishes as well.
This season has been a wild ride for the team and fans alike due to Covid-19. From rescheduling to postponing games, to last minute cancelations. No matter what - we have stood by our team and the Flint Firebirds feel the love.
