Flanagan’s Pub Is Lapeer’s New Hot Spot

For the last week and a half I have seen a lot of posts on Facebook about Flanagan's Pub in Lapeer - most of you will know the place as the former Fat Boys Bar & Grill, located on East Neppesing Street. There have been a lot of awesome changes, and people are really buzzing about this place.

Flanagan's Pub offers food, booze, live music, and comedy nights. As a matter of fact a good friend of mine Sean Patrick will be performing stand up for the first time at Flanagan's Pub on Saturday, May 14th, along with Veronica Douglas, and  headliner Jason Fylan-Mares. There is no charge for comedy nights. I suggest arriving early to get a good seat, and enjoy dinner and drinks prior to the first comedian hitting the stage at 8:00 PM.

This weekend, Saturday, May 1st, will feature live music from With Rhythm featuring Jim Bach on guitar, harmonica, and vocals and Sheri Abbey on guitar, saxophone and vocals. On Saturday, May 8th, Kid Lightning will be performing. There is no cover for live music nights at Flanagan's Pub.

Every Thursday is open mic night from from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. House microphones are provided, or feel free to bring your own along with your instrument of choice.

Flanagan's is open Monday through Friday at 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM, and on Sunday from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. I am looking forward to checking out Flanagan's. You can follow Flanagan's Pub on Facebook for updates, food specials, and additional upcoming events. I hope to see you there soon.
