The water crisis in Flint has been going on for quite some time, and now it's finally getting national attention from media and presidential candidates. Today we learned that next week, the crisis will be the cover story in Time Magazine.

President Obama has declared an emergency in Flint, qualifying the city for $5 million. Gov. Rick Snyder is asking for a federal disaster declaration that would bring in more federal resources.

Wednesday, Snyder released all of his emails regarding the water crisis in Flint, after many called for his resignation or impeachment.

Corrosive water from the Flint River has caused lead from old pipes to seep into homes. Tests have shown high levels of lead in the blood of some children in Flint.
