Former Flint Meijer Employee Suing Store Over Breast Pumping Issue

Lapeer resident and former Meijer employee, Rachel Keesling is suing the super store over breast pumping issues. Keesling claims the retailer did not accommodate her as a breastfeeding mom. Rachel was employed at the Meijer in Swartz Creek.

Charges in the lawsuit include sex discrimination, invasion of privacy and emotional distress. Apparently the location(s) in which she had to pump were monitored by a camera. Keesling is seeking more than $25,000. No comment from anyone representing Meijer at this time.
