Fundraiser for Robotics at Rebekah’s Health & Nutrition Source

Team 1684-the Chimeras is comprised of Lapeer High School and Home School students ranging from 14 to 18 years old. Students are given a specific task to accomplish and six weeks to build a robot to complete the task. Team members are not just building robots. The program is shaping engineers to solve "real world" problems with hands-on experience. Stop by Rebekah's Health & Nutrition Source at 588 S. Main St., near Office Depot and help the Chimeras. Here's how it works shop from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Thursday (2/26), mention robotics at checkout and Rebekah's will donate a portion of sales to the team.
