The 7th Annual Michigan Food, Beer, and Wine Festival is coming to Dort Event Center on Saturday, November 3rd. We have made a few changes to this years' event and want to give you the rundown before tickets go on sale Monday.

Let's start with tickets. There are two ticket options this year.

  • General Admission Tickets: With a general admission ticket, you will get 10 drink sample tickets, 5 food sample tickets, and a free glass. Most of that information has not changed. What has changed this year, is for a very limited time you can get general admission tickets for $30. General admission tickets will be $45 at the door.
  • Soaring Eagle Golden Tickets: These tickets are brand new this year, and only available for a limited time. Golden Ticket holders will get to sample Michigan's best beers, wines, and food one hour early. Doors open for Golden Ticket holders at 5 pm. Golden Ticket holders also get free parking, 10 drink sample tickets, 5 food sample tickets, and a free glass. These tickets are $55 while supplies last, and trust us, it won't be long.

Also new this year is the park area, well kind of. The area in front of the stage will still have sod, lawn games, and a big screen to watch the game. The number one thing you asked us for last year was a place to sit down, so we have tables and chairs for you this year. You will be able to rest your feet for a minute and watch giant jinga or cornhole while sampling delicious food items.

Speaking of food, we have some new items there too. We are still adding to the list, but as of right now you will be able to sample food from great places like Tasty Layers, Donna's Donuts, Yeller Dogs, YaEatYet?, Poco Loco, USA Concessions, Chocolates by Michele, and Fun With Frosting.

A couple of things that are the same this year are the great selection of Michigan beers and wines. We will have over 100 Michigan Beers and over 60 Michigan wines. Have a favorite Michigan beer or wine? Email Jenny.Butynski@townsquaremedia.com and we can try to get it there for you. We will also have great entertainment all night long from Michigan's own Rodney Page. Rodney performed two years ago for us and we are so excited to have him back.

Tickets for this year's Michigan Food, Beer, and Wine Festival are on sale now.  You can get them online here or at the Dort Event Center box office.
