Grand Funk Railroad’s First #1 Single [VIDEO]

This week in 1973, it finally happened for Grand Funk Railroad they had their first #1 single with We're An American Band from the album of the same name. Four years after coming on the scene drummer Don Brewer's song about the bands life on the road would go on to become a classic rock mainstay. If you're lucky you have the first pressing of the tune that came in gold transparent vinyl.
