Harvests and Haunts At 30 Michigan State Parks
When temperatures start to cool and leaves begin to turn more than 30 Michigan state parks play host to fall harvest festivals. Hay rides, pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, costume contests, haunted trails, nature programs and horse-drawn carriage rides are just some of the family-friendly activities happening each September and October.
Lapeer County's Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area will host Fall Harvest Festival Weekend (campers only) on October 5-7 and October 12-14. For more information call 810-797-4439. Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area is located at 3871 Herd Road in Metamora.
