Michigan's own Kid Rock dropped a new song and video featuring Monster Truck called 'Don't Tell Me How To Live'. Seriously, could there be a more Kid Rock song title than that?

The no holds barred entertainer does not hold back on this track, or the video for that matter. I have to admit this is the first time I have seen someone flying around on a giant middle finger in a music video.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see a Machine Shop neon sign featured in the video too. It is no secret that Kid Rock has been a big supporter of the world-famous Flint, Michigan venue for years. You will see the sign a few times throughout the video, and I did take some screenshots too.

My favorite lyrics in 'Don't Tell Me How To Live' are when Kid Rock references every kid getting a trophy. Preach Kid Rock, preach. I have been saying that for years. Whatever happened to first, second and third place? He's right - every kid gets an undeserving trophy these days.

Trust me trophies are not the only thing Kid Rock is rapping about. From the first amendment to comparing himself to Reverand Run and David Lee Roth - he covers all bases. For those of you who thought Kid Rock went 'soft', think again. Heads up, if you are afraid of the F-word, this song will scare you to death (NSFW). You can read the full song lyrics below.

Regardless of whether you are a fan of Kid Rock or not, the fact that he is showing love for The Machine Shop in his new video deserves to be acknowledged. That being said, I am in no way trying to tell YOU how to live.

'Don't Tell Me How To Live' Lyrics courtesy of AZ Lyrics

Fuck all you hoes
Detroit till I die motherfucker
Talking all that bullshit
Ain't nobody gonna tell me how to live

I'm a moonshine sipper straight slipping into darkness
Far from harmless, I'm more like the sharpest
Tool in the shed, no I never been the smartest
Well, make no mistake, I hit the fucking hardest
Devil without a cause, you heard me screaming
And twenty years later, bitch I still fucking mean it
Motherfucker you ain't never met a motherfucker like this
Kiss my ass and you can suck a dick, sideways
My way or the highway, listen up
Ain't nothing changed here, I still don't give a fuck
So what the fuck's up with all the backlash
You snowflakes, here's a newsflash

Ain't nobody gonna tell me how to live

Years ago, we all thought it was a joke, see?
That every kid got a motherfucking trophy
But yo homie, here's a situation
A nation of pussies is our next generation
And these minions and their agendas
Every opinion has a millennial offended
But this amendment one, it rings true
And if it don't descend bitch, then see number two
Ain't nothing new, right church, wrong pew
Get a clue or prove your fake news and views
Can all kick the bottom of my motherfucking shoe
I'm the last of a few still screaming fuck you

Ain't nobody gonna tell me how to live
Ain't nobody gonna tell me how to live

Oh, gonna soar like an eagle
My wings will carry me away
I've got the heart of a lion
And I get stronger every day

You never tell me shit, you never flip my script
Because I'm more outrageous than the Vegas strip
You're like Mayberry bitch, I'm hard and crisp
High risk hillbilly but I'm filthy rich
You're like Milli Vanilli, kinda silly and shit
I'm like Shotgun Willy smoking fillies and shit
I'm like Reverend Ron or David Lee Roth
Like Springsteen bitch, I'm the motherfucking boss
James Dean, shit, I'm more like Brad Pitt
A little less pretty but I sling more dick
I twang more riffs, I slide through grass
I rip more lines than a ten pound bass
Pass the mic, I'm like sloe gin fizz
And ain't nobody, and ain't nobody

Ain't nobody gonna tell me how to live
