Longtime TV and radio broadcaster Marv Albert (pictured) is retiring once the 2021 NBA Playoffs are concluded.

Albert, who's 80 years old, has called basketball, football, hockey, baseball, and boxing, among other sports during his nearly 60 years behind the microphone.  He has been with NBC, CBS, Turner Sports, and Westwood One Radio for most of that time.

He will call this year's NBA Playoffs for TNT/Turner Sports this spring and summer.  He has also been the legendary voice of the New York Knicks and New York Rangers during most of his career.

He is best known for his "Yes!!!!  And it counts!!!!" call for years during NBA games on NBC in the 1990's.

Albert is the second prominent broadcaster to retire in recent months.  Former CBS and FOX TV and radio announcer Dick Stockton retired earlier this year.
