Imlay City Kroger Offering $3 Lunch Special With Proceeds Benefiting Fire Victims

The Kroger store in Imlay City is serving up a great deal all weekend to benefit a local family who recently lost four children in a tragic fire.

For only $3 you can get a hot dog, chips and a pop - with all proceeds going to the family. Hours are as follows,

• Friday, March 1st - 11AM - 5PM
• Saturday, March 2nd - Noon to 5PM
• Sunday, March 3rd - 11AM - 5PM

Firefighters responded to the Imaly City residence on Elmont Street this past Tuesday at roughly 3:00 AM. Reports indicate when firefighters arrived the trailer was already up in flames. It breaks my heart that four children died as a result of the fire. Rest in peace Keith Kelley, 6, Keyondre Kelley, 5, and Keyanna Kelley, 3, and  Keyairah Kelley, who was 28 days old.

Parents Krystal Whitney, 29, Keith Kelley Sr., 42, and 18-month-old Keyshawn Kelley are still at a Flint hospital. My heart goes out to this family.
