Man Hit By Amusement Park Ride After Entering Restricted Area
If you lose something while riding a roller coaster, wait until the park shuts the ride down and have an employee retrieve what you lost because it's a whole lot safer.
Amusement Parks in Ohio
While most states don't have an amusement park, Ohio has two solid parks to visit if you are a thrill seeker. My son and I recently visited Cedar Point and we had a blast. There was one ride where we didn't feel the safety bar was where it should be so we will avoid that ride in the future. It's our favorite place to go.
Kings Island is the other park Ohio has to offer. I haven't been in a long time but it's a great park with lots of great rides and now and then a cool rock show is there as well. Maybe sometime when my son and I are heading to Kentucky to visit family we will stop so he can experience "The Beast."

Man Hit By Amusement Park Ride After Entering Restricted Area
I have not been to Kings Island since they installed the Banshee but if you have been to Cedar Point it is similar to the Raptor from the videos I have watched.
According to FOX 17, a 38-year-old man told a Kings Island park worker he lost something while riding the Banshee and wanted to retrieve it. The worker notified him that the item couldn't be retrieved until the ride closed for the day.
The Banshee looks like a great coaster, but one you don't want to be walking around in restricted areas when it is running or not running. Unfortunately, that is exactly what the man did and he wound up getting struck by the ride. One of the riders said it sounded like we hit a deer. The man was taken to the hospital with critical injuries and the ride will be closed until the investigation is complete.
