This playoff season, everyone has been keeping their eyes on the Detroit Lions, who have successfully secured a #1 seed in the NFC Playoffs for the first time in franchise history and will enjoy home-field advantage for their entire run in the post-season.

However, there is one animal that isn't a big cat like a Lion, rather it's a little puppy named Trixie on Team Fluff who is looking to shoot her shot at winning the "Lombarky" Trophy in Discovery's Puppy Bowl XXI, now in its 21st year.

This little pup is one of over 142 rescue puppies from over 80 shelters around the US. Trixie even got a special shout-out in the official press release for the event, as Trixie was the BISSEL Pet Foundation's choice this year, one of the largest sponsors of the event.

The best part about the Puppy Bowl is that many of the puppies in the bowl are up for adoption. However, Trixie won't need to worry about finding a furrever home- her brother and she were already adopted together. She's just playing for a chance to be named MVP (Most Valuable Puppy).
