Is There Really a Live Camera in Holland to Watch Tulips Grow?

It's almost Tulip Time in Holland. The 95th Annual 2024 Tulip Time Festival, themed "Bikes and Blooms"!

Tulip Time in Holland begins on Saturday, May 4 and wraps up on Sunday, May 12.

Thousands of tourists from around the world descend on Holland and West Michigan early in May to stare at Tulips. Okay, not just stare, although viewing millions of tulips in one place is pretty awesome, and staring or should I gawking, is allowed.

But, NO, the live camera the city of Holland has set up from Centennial Park will not actually watch tulips grow. That would really be cool though, but I seriously doubt it any way. However it's interesting to see, in real time, what is happening in the park. CLICK HERE TO SEE CENTENNIAL PARK CAM!

Just being three weeks away from the start of the Tulip Festival, heralded as the nation’s Best Flower Festival and America’s Best Small Town Festival, everyone is gearing up for nine days of big crowds and big fun.

DUTCH DANCERS

Beginning with the Tulip Time Run on Saturday, May 4, it continues that day with the Quilt Show, Artisan Market, Dutch Dance lessons, and finishes with the ABBA tribute band, Dancing Queen.

The celebration continues the rest of the festival with the always famous street scrubbing, Tall Ships dockside tours, the Texas Tenors Live Concert, the Scott McCreery Live Concert, the big Volksparade, Saturday, May 11, and so much more.
